Siam Discovery Mall

Siam Discovery Mall, owned and operated by the same folks as neighboring Siam Center and mega mall Siam Paragon, is a small, typical shopping mall with mostly mid- to high-end shops including Adidas, Armani Exchange, Miss Sixty, The North Face and Shu Umera.

Siam Paragon 

includes a range of specialty stores and restaurants as well as a multiplex (15 large screen cinemas), the Sea Life Bangkok Ocean World aquarium, an exhibition hall, the Thai Art Gallery, and an opera concert hall. It also has a bowling alley and karaoke centre. It is a joint venture by Siam Piwat, the company that owns the adjacent Siam Center/Siam Discovery shopping malls, and The Mall Group, which owns The Emporium. Siam Paragon's financial results are not reported by the privately held Siam Paragon Development.

 

 

Like all other Thai shopping malls, Siam Discovery has its share of food and beverage outlets, including a Starbucks, an Au Bon Pain, an Outback Steakhouse and an Ootoya. It also houses Madame Tussauds on the 5th floor. Siam Discovery is not a particularly notable shopping mall on its own, but it’s a very pleasant mall and since it’s connected to Siam Center and MBK (via an elevated walkway), it’s worth a visit if you’re in the area and enjoy shopping. 

 

SIAM PARAGON

Siam Paragon is an immensely popular shopping mall housing a host of international high-end fashion brands, Southeast Asia’s largest aquarium, a 16-screen Cineplex, and a comprehensive selection of world cuisine. Located prominently in front of Siam BTS Skytrain station - the interchange of the two BTS lines - it is considered by many to be the centre of Bangkok.
